Robert Mayer, CEO Robert has over 20 years experience in the high tech sector where he held various positions in business management, engineering management and research and development. Prior to being named CEO of PeerApp, Robert was with EMC Corp for 10 years. He began as a key developer of EMC’s revolutionary storage platform that yielded as much as $6 Billion in annual revenues for the company and during his career there managed various business groups. His latest EMC position was as Vice President of Information Management. He received a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, Boston. Joseph Hazan, CFO
Prior to joining Peer App, Joseph was a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Enigma for ten years. While at Enigma, he oversaw operation and budgeting for all operating units worldwide and negotiated with leading venture capital firms. He also led the initiative to acquire a US subsidiary of a Public company, Enigma’s main competitor. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Accounting.
Alan Arolovitch, CTO Alan is PeerApp’s CTO and is responsible for the technical vision and product strategy. Alan is a serial entrepreneur and has over 12 years engineering and design experience. He is an expert in IP networking, server clusters, and high performance storage systems. Prior to joining PeerApp, Alan owned his own system design and consulting firm where he worked with customers such as Intel, Comverse, IBM Global Services, Allot Communications, and Terayon. Javier Jimenez, Vice President Sales and General Manager, Americas
With over 20 years of experience in high technology companies, Javier is a recognized and respected as an internationally accomplished leader in executive and sales management, as well as operations and financial management with startup and established companies. Mr. Jimenez joins PeerApp from BluePhoenix, a publically traded software company serving Fortune 1000 companies and government organizations. He was founder and CEO of Scientia Network Solutions, a technology and consulting company specializing in helping young technology companies entering International Markets. He has worked in senior positions with Comverse Technology as Vice President and General Manager for Latin America, iWeb Technologies and Lucas Aero Space. Mr. Jimenez holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from College of the Air Force, has completed studies towards an MBA through Dowling College, and has also completed advanced Executive Level courses with Technion in cooperation with Harvard and MIT. Jim Ryan, Vice President of International Sales Jim brings over 15 years of experience in sales to telecommunications service providers with particular expertise in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining PeerApp as VP of International Sales, Jim was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Egenera, where he rebuilt the Asia Pacific sales organization before taking over the global role. Prior to that, Jim built sales organizations and markets from scratch in Japan and Asia for Telemedia Networks and Excel Switching Corporation. Jim started his career running carrier sales in Japan for voicemail leader Octel Communications. Jim is fluent in Japanese and also speaks Chinese and French. He has a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a master's degree from Osaka University in Japan. Samuel Bachar, Vice President of Products and Marketing
Prior to joining PeerApp, Samuel was Vice President of Research & Development with Vocaltec -- a Voice over IP (VoIP) leader -- where he was instrumental in the development of several key product lines. Samuel has more than 15 years of experience in communications and engineering, including positions at Kagoor Networks, Comverse, Elron. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science and Economics as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree.
Andrew Audet, Vice President of Business Development
Andy is a seasoned telecommunications veteran that has led initiatives for the design and implementation of high-speed data, digital video, and voice businesses around the world. Prior to PeerApp, Audet was VP of the Cable Segment at Juniper Networks and was responsible for establishing Juniper as the leader in supplying IP Network solutions to the cable industry as well as IP Video Solutions to Worldwide Service Providers. Andy previously led Lemur Networks as their CEO and was responsible for re-positioning the company as a leader in the IP OSS space. Prior to Lemur, he was President and CEO of Chinook Communications, the original General Manager of the Cable Data Products Division at Motorola, and he served as an executive at start-up Palladian Software and Procter and Gamble. Audet attended Union College in Schenectady, NY, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. Later he earned an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Yaniv Holin, Vice President of Global Technical Services
Yaniv Holin comes to PeerApp with more than 12 years experience of managing professional services and customer support in the telecommunications and networking industries. Mr. Holin brings extensive experience is in real-time systems’ implementation and integration of large-scale telecom and networking networks, as well as expertise in project management and Pre-Sale services. Previous Mr. Holin held management roles at Expand Networks and VocalTec Communication, where he has established companies’ professional services and customer support departments worldwide (Americas, Germany, Israel, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan).
Dror Gavish, Senior Director of Engineering
Prior to this role at PeerApp, Dror spent four years managing the PeerApp software Group. Mr Gavish has more than 14 years of experience in communications and engineering, including different leading positions at Vocaltec and participation in various NASA initiatives, including work on the International space station project.
