UBInsight Foundation

The core of the UBInsight solution, the UBInsight foundation, consists of the KPI database and analytics engine. The foundation gathers information from the available UltraBand systems as data sources and acts as the central point of access into the tool. From the foundation, the user has flexibility to leverage pre-defined report packages for KPI analysis and visualization. Reports are available in a variety of formats from webpage dashboards, to PDF and HTML.

Understanding QoE, Network Planning, and Trends
Operators are using UBInsight to understand the acceleration of content on the network, true Quality of Experience (QoE ) for video, costs to serve content from various regions, types of content being accessed for network planning and monetization planning. UBInsight is more than a reporting tool. The aggregate data and KPI's provide operators with visibility unavailable to any other network analysis tool. The inherent handling of content objects and visibility beyond the URL/URI allows analysis of all the high value objects moving through the network. Pre-defined report packages provide views of the data for multiple levels of the organization from operations and engineering to marketing and finance. UBInsight gives operators the tools to compare the quality of flash video from the Internet with content accelerated from the cache, determine the percentage of transit savings the cache is providing, plan network expansion based on customer consumption trends and calculate the cost to deliver content from specific ASN's.
