Robert Mayer, PeerApp Chairman & CEO
Robert has over 20 years experience in the high tech sector where he held various positions in business management, engineering management and research and development. Prior to being named CEO of PeerApp, Robert was with EMC Corp for 10 years. He began as a key developer of EMC’s revolutionary storage platform that yielded as much as $6 Billion in annual revenues for the company. His latest EMC position was Vice President of Information Management. He received a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from the Northeastern University, Boston.
Stephen Van Beaver, General partner, Pilot House Ventures Group, LLC
Stephen is a General partner at Pilot House Ventures Group, LLC and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Camiant, CentrePath, Mazu Networks, Navic, Stoke and is involved with BigBand Networks.
Prior to joining Pilot House, Stephen was co-founder and Senior Vice President of Operations for Road Runner LLC, the high-speed data joint venture between MediaOne (now Comcast), Time Warner (now AOL Time Warner), Compaq (now HP) and Microsoft. He also served as Vice President of Operations and Technology for MediaOne Internet Services, as well as for Continental Cablevision.
Amnon Shoham, Managing Partner
Amnon Shoham brings a wealth of experience investing in and building quality high tech companies from the ground since becoming an investment professional in 1993. Mr. Shoham’s portfolio of investments has achieved successful returns over the last decade. Mr. Shoham and is an active board member on several of Cedar Fund’s portfolio companies and has been a board member of several publically traded companies. Before turning to venture capital investing, Mr. Shoham worked as an attorney in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, a leading U.S. law firm, where he focused on public offerings and mergers and acquisitions involving high technology companies.
Adi Gan, General Partner, Evergreen Venture Partners
Mr. Gan joined Evergreen in 1997 and has focused on optical communications and communications infrastructure investments. Mr. Gan has 11 years of experience in the private sector. His earlier positions included managing the Real-Time Systems Division of a leading software services company.
Don Casey
For over thirty years, Don Casey has served the software and IT Services industries in positions ranging from development to chief executive to chairman. Don was President and Chief Operating Officer of Exodus Communications and is currently chairman of the board for Mazu Networks and serves on the board of AspenTech and Ounce Labs. His other notable achievements include leading the turnaround of Wang Laboratories from a bankrupt, proprietary hardware vendor to a $3.5 billion services company. Don was president and CTO of Wang and directly responsible for Wang's US Services business. Don previously served as Vice President of Lotus Development Corporation’s Spreadsheet Division, which at the time represented over 80% of the company’s revenue. He was also Vice President of Networking and Multimedia for Apple Computer, where he assumed responsibility for multimedia strategy and successfully planned and delivered the QuickTime product, now an industry standard. Don began his career at IBM, serving over 20 years and achieving the role of Vice President of Communications Hardware.
